Finally, I've come up with an exciting travel plan for my upcoming holiday. My journey will kick off at the iconic Forbidden City. This magnificent palace complex is a treasure trove of Chinese history and architecture. As I wander through the grand halls and beautiful gardens, I'll be transported back in time to the era of ancient emperors. I plan to spend a whole morning there, marveling at the intricate details of the buildings and imagining the lives of those who once lived within these walls. After that, I'll head to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. Standing in the heart of this vast square, I'll feel a strong sense of national pride. I'll visit the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Great Hall of the People, learning about China's revolutionary history and modern development. In the afternoon, I can enjoy the bustling atmosphere around the square and take some memorable photos. The next day, I'm looking forward to climbing the Great Wall at Badaling. This world-famous wonder is not only a remarkable engineering feat but also a symbol of the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people. The moment I set foot on the Great Wall, I'll be greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. I'll hike along the wall, feeling the weight of history beneath my feet. It will surely be a challenging yet rewarding experience. In the evening, I'll return to the city and explore Nanluoguxiang, a traditional hutong area filled with unique shops, restaurants, and cafes.
