My Friend and I I have a good friend named Tom. We have known each other since we were in primary school, and our friendship has been growing deeper over the years. Tom is a really interesting guy. He is tall and has black hair and bright eyes that always seem to be full of energy. He loves playing basketball and is really good at it. Every time there is a basketball game in school, he is always one of the first ones to sign up. His skills on the court are amazing. He can dribble past opponents easily and shoot accurately. Watching him play basketball is like watching a professional athlete perform. I, on the other hand, am more into reading. I spend a lot of my free time in the library, exploring different kinds of books. Whether it's a thrilling adventure novel or a thought-provoking classic, I enjoy getting lost in the world of words. Through reading, I have gained a lot of knowledge and different perspectives on life. Despite our different hobbies, we get along extremely well. We often share our experiences with each other. When Tom wins a basketball game, he excitedly tells me all about the exciting moments during the game. And I love to recommend good books to him. Sometimes he reads the books I suggest and we have long discussions about the stories, characters, and the messages behind them. We also support each other through thick and thin. Once, I was really stressed out because of an important exam. I was worried that I wouldn't perform well. Tom noticed my anxiety and spent a whole afternoon with me. He encouraged me, helped me make a study plan, and even shared some of his own exam-taking tips. Thanks to his support, I felt more confident and finally did well in the exam.
