October 1st, [Year] Friday Sunny National Day is here! This year, to celebrate this special occasion, I went to Tiananmen Square with my family. As soon as we arrived at the square, I was shocked by the grand scene. There were a sea of people, all wearing smiles on their faces. The five-star red flags fluttered in the wind everywhere, looking extremely majestic. At the center of the square, there was a huge and beautiful flower bed. Different kinds of colorful flowers were arranged in an orderly manner, forming various patterns that symbolized the prosperity of our country. People were taking pictures in front of it, trying to capture this wonderful moment. We also watched the flag-raising ceremony. When the national anthem sounded and the national flag slowly rose, everyone around me stood up straight, saluted, and sang the national anthem with full enthusiasm. At that moment, a strong sense of patriotism welled up in my heart. I felt so proud to be a Chinese. After that, we strolled around the square, enjoying the festive atmosphere. We saw some street performers showing their talents, like acrobats doing amazing tricks and folk artists performing traditional music. It was really interesting. In the evening, we went to a restaurant near the square to have dinner. We ordered a lot of delicious dishes. While eating, we talked about the great changes that our country has undergone over the years. We all agreed that we are living in a great era. Today was really an unforgettable day. I not only had a great time but also deepened my love for our motherland. I hope our country will become more prosperous and powerful in the future!
